Common questions
What happens after I pay? (receipt + GitHub invite)
You get two emails, and there's no separate download link: your copy of ShipKit is access to the private GitHub repo Yahmez3/app-store-shipkit.
- A receipt from Stripe (our payment processor), sent to the email you used at checkout.
- A GitHub invitation to
Yahmez3/app-store-shipkit, sent by GitHub to the email on the GitHub account you entered at checkout, usually within a minute.
How do I accept the GitHub invite?
- Sign in to GitHub as the username you entered at checkout.
- Open github.com/Yahmez3/app-store-shipkit/invitations (or the link in GitHub's email, or github.com/notifications) and click Accept invitation.
- Clone it:
git clone https://github.com/Yahmez3/app-store-shipkit.git, then run./install.sh /path/to/YourAppand type/shipin Claude Code.
GitHub invitations expire after 7 days. If yours expired, contact us and we'll send a fresh one.
I paid but didn't get a GitHub invite
Invites usually arrive within a minute. Try these in order:
- While signed in to the GitHub account you entered, open github.com/Yahmez3/app-store-shipkit/invitations. The invite shows there even if the email never arrives.
- Check the inbox (and spam) of the email address on that GitHub account, which may differ from the one you paid with, and github.com/notifications.
- Reopen the thank-you page link from checkout: it shows the invite status, and lets you fix the username if the invite failed.
Still nothing after 15 minutes? Contact us with your Stripe receipt number (or the cs_… session id) and your GitHub username, and we'll sort it out by hand.
I typed the wrong GitHub username
The thank-you page you saw after checkout lets you enter a different username if the first invite failed. If the invite went to the wrong (but real) account, or you've closed that page, contact us with your receipt and the right username and we'll move access over.
GitHub says I'm already a collaborator
Then you already have access: open github.com/Yahmez3/app-store-shipkit while signed in to that account and git clone it. If you see a 404, you're probably signed in to a different GitHub account.
How do refunds work?
Ask within 14 days of purchase and you get a full refund, no questions. When a full refund is processed, repo access is removed automatically. See the refund policy.
How do updates work?
Updates are published to the same private repo for 12 months after purchase. Run git pull in your clone, then ./install.sh /path/to/YourApp --force to refresh the skills and commands in your app. The CHANGELOG.md lists what changed.
StoreKit, App Review or "will my app be approved?" questions
Start with /preflight and /fix-rejection in Claude Code, and the App Review playbook in docs/. If ShipKit gave advice that's wrong or out of date, tell us and we'll fix it for everyone. We can't promise approval (that's Apple's call) or review your whole app one-on-one, but we'll point you in the right direction.
