App Store ShipKit is sold by ShipKit ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you visit this site, contact support or buy ShipKit.
What we collect
- Purchase details: your name, email, billing country/address and payment details are collected by Stripe, our payment processor. We receive your name, email, country, the amount paid and your GitHub username. We never see your full card number.
- GitHub username: used only to invite you to the private repository, via the GitHub API.
- Server logs: our host, Cloudflare, processes standard request data (IP address, user agent) to serve and protect the site. We don't use analytics cookies, ad trackers or third-party analytics on this site.
- Support messages: if you email us or use the contact form, we receive your name, email, any receipt or session id you include and your message, plus your IP address (used only to limit spam). Form messages are delivered to our support inbox through Cloudflare. We keep the conversation to help you.
Why
To deliver what you bought, provide support and updates, handle refunds, and meet tax and accounting obligations.
Sharing
We share data only with the service providers above (Stripe, GitHub, Cloudflare, and our email provider for support and delivery emails), or where the law requires. We don't sell personal information.
Retention
Purchase records are kept as long as tax law requires (generally 5 years). You can ask us to delete anything we don't have to keep.
Your rights
You can ask to access or correct your personal information, or complain about how we handle it: just email support@shipkitapp.dev. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au). If you're in the EU/UK, you also have rights under the GDPR, including erasure and portability.
Overseas transfers
Stripe, GitHub, Cloudflare and our email provider may process data in other countries, including the United States.
